A Horse Story

This a story of many horses viewed in the eyes of a child as she stood there gasping at the death wagon, a while. All were frozen from the cold as the memory does unfold in the dead of winter, no cover ponies and mules tried to hover Oh what she would have given to have owned one beauty there And from this horror learned, To forgive those who didn't care.

A lot of Judy's poems have underlying themes, such as this one pointing out that while togetherness is important to our social security, sometimes it requires a little bit more for things to work out. Love my horses, and I surely can testify to the fact that there never was a horse that can't be rode, and never was a man who can't be throwed. I been throwed a time or two. LOL Nice work, Judy.
