A Hearty Soup They Make
There a few Chief chef’s in this kitchen
A hearty soup they make
Their craft is simply brilliant
This is no mistake.
Some poets here have talent
I shall not mention names
Some are true warriors
Among such mighty pen.
Keep writing mighty warriors,
The battlefield your words,
With sonnet, free verse, prose, and rhyme
Take up the mighty pen, compose, and leave them all behind.
I follow them and read,
Because they are truly good,
A master with their pen,
One day THE legacy they leave behind,
Will be their written word.
