A God
I found a God in someone else's wallet
The size of a paper fold
Sometimes it dwells in someone else's pocket
And it's too course and hot to hold
For it has a true power
That could dwarf even the highest tower
It can make the brave cower
And the righteous to act improper
Its true power is amazing
It can compel someone to do untoward thing
It can persuade and dissuade
And can cause things to fade
So guard your heart against its luster
Sometimes it does not need to glimmer
You can't just hold it when you see it shimmer
You must wait for your crave to simmer
For those who hold it when it's hot
Are stuck in the power of its spell
For it can cause a soul to rot
And one's conscience to dispel
