A Glitter of Gold
Within the brush strokes, an artist finds acclaim
As a story on canvas is told
But I am drawn to a painting with a gilded frame
Mesmerized by its glitter of gold
Like others before me I am drawn to her smile
But I find the mystery is in her eyes
She is a legend, an enigma
She's the song her mystery implies
She is a poem with infinite muse
But I sigh as I say goodbye
But she'll flash across my mind
Whether in song or in verses deep
And she'll smile with the mystery she keeps
