A Glimpse of Heaven

The light was fading, Casting shadows all around Shadows forming pictures Upon the walls And on the ground Objects seem to appear From somewhere out of space When daybreaks These objects take on a different face A breeze is gently blowing Making autumn leaves dance Floating effortlessly As their magnificent colours Putting the onlooker in a trance. Nature is always giving, With every season it brings Sometimes unforgiving It can have a nasty sting. From the fluttery of wings And the brilliance of the sky Nature makes life worth living. Who could ask for more A glimpse of heaven on earth I know that for sure
