A Glimmering

I feel a faint spatter of light emerging from the dark, a glinting bud of hope in faith restored. Go slowly and join the light and bathe, do not cast it in among your shadows. Never to dwell nor be tricked by the longing, for it is reconciled now and I am unbroken. But this spark, I could let it light my fuse, give it the power to tear this man apart. I wonder will we talk soon, or meet and feel the warming, as the pulses may deepen and our pupils dilate. I would take care of this one in truth and awe. Yes, I will dive but in stealth and poise, I will not appear too deep... Too soon. But my eyes may betray and my chest will rise, reciprocate the sweetness, relieve my guise.
