A Giving Time

Christmas is a smelly time! A pine-scented memory lane time when those who have give to those without as pumpkin and apples, oranges and peppermint give us all their gift. Christmas is a splendiferous time, a lightful merry delightful time. Houses and lawns all lit in the cold and even the homeless find shelter to enfold that shiny eyed feast of hams and yams and more pie than a body can stand! Its grand ... this season. Wether a birthday, Kawanzaa or Hanukkah wish we would always be this way throughout all our days and the "reason" wasn't just this special season.

Yes it's a bit funny that Christmas can be such a fun time for most ,at least, while the rest of the year many act as tho they have never seen Christmas. Sincerely, love, Moses

Hi Sue, I sooo love your beautiful heartfelt sentiments in this lovely poem! Love needs to be shared all year long, I so agree. It doesn't matter what one's faith, as long as they keep their inner-light of love shining bright within their hearts. Thanks for sharing! Happy Holidays to you and yours! Love Light Patty Soupmail in a minute or so!

You deliver an important message in that last verse, Sue. Wouldn't it be nice if people showed the same kindness that fills hearts during the holidays throughout the year? And it's also admirable the way you mention the Kawanzaa and Hanukkah celebrations. We all have reason to celebrate this time of year, regardless of religion or race. Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing this great poem with us, Sue! Love, Carolyn
