A Friend In Passing

Listen to poem:
A Friend in passing David J Walker When I heard of his death All I could think about Was my last breath In a coming day As I cross the river What would I say As I Part the veil And leave behind A body frail As I process his passing a quietly forlorn a thought in grasping Is it for him Or for me That I mourn
