A Forgotten Mother's Grief

Sitting all alone beside her purring pussy cat An old woman is deeply thinking of her past Her loving husband was cheerful all day And "Mom" her gigggling childen would say He died; they went each to their own life Daughter to husband and son to wife Recalling their days, she feels her life's brief She needs them; now they forget her grief Why they don't remember her lullabies She cared for them and got their apologies She attended to their broken knees They clung to her like bees are to queens Her motherly blessing's above her grief Though they don't now, she'll forgive Her children who may come anytime Then her malady gone, she'll be fine.

True. A mother's feeling for her children is unique. Thanks.
