They swing in the breeze, they dance and then freeze, Red glistening balls say cheese, play yo yo and tease. Outside the city where the pomegranates grow, Red lanterns hang where green orchards glow. The butterflies flutter in, the bees swarm in, Their honey they churn in, their lips sugared in Outside the city where the pomegranates grow, Red lanterns hang where green orchards glow. Arched rainbows above them, midnight stars cover them, Spring season blossoms them, summers in hands toss them. Julia, I'm glad you like them! It reminded me of a pomegranate tree I once had which was bountifully laden and forever glowing like red lanterns. Hugs, Balveen
