A Feather Floats

Light falls amongst light not a shadow might blown past the day but with tepid winds graceful as a feather floats down by silence behold nearer a beauty rests before bent visions held in check from a sultry sea breaking where fragrance parts It dwells in storied touch laid across ancient ways but still held taught when sumptuous lips reunite and stagnant thoughts float free as if the feather in the wind was one again with me

I love this, gorgeous Tim. Reminded me of Emily. “Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all.” ? Emily Dickinson

You write beautifully in free verse, Tim. That floating feather has served its purpose to the full! Superb ending, too. // paul

Probably not going to guess the meaning but It flows well and "when sumptuous lips reunite all stagnate thoughts do float free." Its the first verse I'm trying to figure out. I know one thing, it's not about the Cubs:)
