A Feared Dream

As I ran, with nowhere to hide, My screams unheard, reality defied. The blackness shrouded me, Forcing me to flee. And as the darkness came, The whole of my body went lame. I fell into a never-ending abyss, Thinking of the loved ones I'd miss. Falling, falling, evermore, I hit bottom, and awoke, on my bedroom floor.
