A Faraway Strand
"There is a land on a faraway strand"
"A beautiful home for the redeemed soul"
"Pon streets of pure gold someday I'll stand"
"Viewing that gorgeous land and never grow old"
In that faraway city, redeemed and whole
Sitting beside the tree with abundance
Eating the fruit in leisure then just stroll
Seeing hundreds of angels in brilliance
Knowing that I will nevermore grow old
Sitting at the feet of Jesus adoring Him
In that faraway land, mother enfold
Sharing our stories that are stored within
In the faraway somewhere way up there
Where we will never grow old, my sweet heir
