A Fabulous Ride
Middle of summer, time flies by so fast
Before you know it, summer has passed
Ever forward the cycle goes on
Around and around from dawn to dawn
Not enough time to catch our breath
Before you know it there's little time left
Time to do all the things we intended
Must be satisfied with things half ended
A fact of life we have good intentions
Projects not done too many to mention
We do our best in the time we're given
But often in other directions we're driven
All in all we can look back with pride
The journey was fun t'was a fabulous ride
Middle of summer, time flies by so fast
All things considered, my life's been a blast
