A Drop of Dew
A drop of dew to leaf is bound
It quietly lays until it’s found
A gentle breeze may blow its way
For tis not destined long to stay.
It may give drink, its purpose paid
To sustain life, is why twas made
In the forest, it comes each morn
To give its life, why it was born.
It may disperse into the air
But never fear, it is still there
And it will come another day
To cherish all, that is the way.
It is so small, yet it is grand
Gives life to all, just as God planned.
