A Dream of Mama
She came to him whilst he sleeps
Relief and sadness flooded in
He wished they'd talk like they use to,
But this did not happen.
The dream was just a dream of his subconcious,
The dream he hopes for every night still evades
He dreamt her while she sleeps
He dreamt her on that day,
That day they laid her to rest
That day they saw her for the last time
The day they shed flooding tears
Tears of overwhelming sadness.
That day, he dreamt her on
That day.
