A Dream
Twilight falls and colors of evening infuse vacant skies
As day has come to an end, so must man’s toil
Quiet reigns in hearts and gardens lit by fireflies
When hands and feet gladly cease labor and recoil
She lies in repose with a settled spirit calmly drifting away
Though transient passages dissolve like wispy smoke
There, she finds contentment where realities go astray
In a magical place where a pleasant dream is not remote

Note: Too late for Isaiah's contest: "A Dream", but here it is anyway! : )
