A Distant Life
What has happened? I don't even know you!
The memories we shared,
Destroyed you through and through.
The hole we ripped, is still burning,
The fire we shared,
Has turned me to yearning.
Everyone sees only the mask you wear,
The secrets we shared,
Put me up to the claws that tear!
I don't understand. What has happened?
The "love" we shared,
Put me in a cage I am trapped in.
Where have you gone? What have we done?
The life we shared,
From what's left, I run.
