A Different Spirit
There are many women in the Bible
Some more familiar than others
And they all have different spirits
Which are distinct from one another
Their stories are not similar
But their struggles were not the same
But all were called and challenged
To play in life's game
Yet we tend to use comparisons
Which is the devil's tool
To cast dispersion and dissension
And make us act like fools
Yes we all have different spirits
But we're all relevant as well
We all have a purpose and a promise
We all have a story to tell
Yes we all have different spirits
But we need to comprehend
That God has a place for each of us
In the midst of all of them
We all have an assignment
A mission to fulfill
As God formed each of us for a reason
To abide by His will
We are all very special
We are extraordinary human beings
And can't allow life's dry seasons
To stop us from seeing
That the spirit of the Lord God in us
Is deeply rooted, strong and true
And the Living Waters of God
Will always quench those thirsty days we go thru
Yes our spirits are different
But our faith is well defined
For as off-springs of the heavenly King
We have come to find
That are spirits may be different
However the reason why we're all here
Is to follow the roads less travelled
And see our destinies very clear
