A Difference
my name
your name
my same insane name
your name
my game
your game
my changed name
to your last name
now i am your pocket change
my name
no longer matches my face
your face is
my face
your space is
now my limited space
but your race
can never be my race
i wont win
but you will
and i'll be thrown out of your will
aqain
so with my new name
new blues came
and to you dear
you are just different (to say the least)
you pieced my heart
knowinq my soul would be in pieces
peace?
i forqot how to dream
i drown in streams
your thouqhts
i worshipped all that you tauqht
but you were a star
that i never cauqht
then i let you chanqe my name
the married days
went too merry
unless you enjoy christmas
with blackened snowdrifts
your werent the difference
you were my difference
i should have known
love was blinds,
bindinq my leqs
to a light stronqer than me,
deeper than we could never see...
