A Demon's Death At Dawn
*this poem was written after a very traumatizing experience this weekend. I am still in shock of it all, although I have had many paranormal experiences before..I wasn't sure about a title for it, so dear Justin Bordner saved me yet again. Thanks so much! My heart to you all!*
"The magnetic center,
The center pulls you close...
From beneath you,
It devours" -From Beneath You - Nemesea
Deranged mastermind,
You have taken my dreams yet again,
Gazing in the hollows of your thoughts
Evil intent splashing in shadows all around me
Treacherous demon,
Brought on by black tempests dressed in fire,
Rest your ire…rest your ire
Allow these ever-blinking lids to tire
Dangerous manifestation,
Tempt me no longer in the night
Standing, crouching, sinking
Watching me with those turbulent thoughts
Why is it you stare at me so?
Taken from infant’s tears,
My companion, you have drained all her sane,
So that she cannot sleep without the light…
The light in which you still disdain
Why do you whisper to me,
When well you know my heart will shutter
In sight of you, the screams I will cover
With the lucidity of my curious love
Resting on your wing in heart of above
You possessive dragon,
Creep into my respite,
And I promise,
The wandering of your life will cease,
Exceeding the ecstasy of your evil
The sky shall meet daylight
And the open door will close to end your triumph…
