A Day Out
What is your idea
of a perfect day out?
we all would think
something different without doubt
It's not always the place
it's not even the day
a reminder of a former moment
you wish could always stay
It surely must be a person
one you love to share
your special day with
such memories can be so rare
Spending time with my one true love
makes my special day great
wanting to be with her
makes one soar above
My one love is my day
spending it only in her light
so bright indeed is her shine
making my day always bright
