Feeling helpless in this pandemic.

Waves sang songs along the sea shore, Water washed up on the sand, Life couldn’t be any better at all, Well, this is where the story began, You see, all of a sudden a wave gripped onto my foot, Pulled me out to the break, Where I was helplessly sunk below the loud waves, And they refused to let me escape, And my hands reached for something, anything at all, A family, a house, a career, Something to help pull me up from this horror, From this place of my absolute fear, But the news kept on coming of a virus of death, I saw death himself like a dark ghost, And he told me it gets worse as he shut both my eyes, Then I woke up all broke on the coast.

You are not helpless. The waves may have pulled you under, but you will surface- and breathe again. Stay safe my dear friend. We will get through this. ~ Brandy

hi Brandy, yep, this will have an ending, however right now I feel very helpless and its as though not many people, who can make a difference (politicians)..... are. Its more frustrating than anything.
