A Daugter's Prayer

Dear Lord Thank you for giving me the mother I had Thank you for always helping her Thank you for making her so sweet For her unconditional love Her kind spirit and gentle words. Thank you Lord for the time we had All the good times and the bad Dear Lord you know the pain I have The longing for her everyday I know you need her now. There was so much I still Wanted to say and do Dear Lord I ask you now To please help me through Take good care of her My Mother whom I loved so….. This poem is in remembrance of my mother-in-law. I dedicate this to my sister-in-law.
