A Darkened Room

Always there the two back beast On the joys of love it feasts Two are one then two once more Forms that merge upon the floor Shapes that show when lights deflected Sounds that peel from souls affected Intense with passion the air’s electric Movements slow and then more hectic Soon the beast has had its fill Where it danced all now is still The beast will rise no need to call We are its mind; it’s in us all Charlie Milne
