~

perspective was found
through days of rain and sorrow
though laughter still came
a long painful plight ensued
and in one breath she was gone.........

~

A true story regarding one of my close friend
cancer spread throughout her body so, so quick
She passed one month ago today.

I Love you Karen!!!

Hola Rick, stopping by again, your poem is a situation many have to face, with last minutes warning. Not giving enough time for longer goodbyes. I feel sad, after reading about your loss Rick, Dear Karen, where ever you are, I want you to know, Rick, has moved me with tears, and he is a caring and good guy... God bless you,, Rick, hugs for now... xox~pd

I have somehow missed your poems, but this is beautiful in its sadness. So touching. Lost both parents to cancer.

Heartbreaking and real, and I'm so sorry to hear of your friend, Rick. Too often this is true for many of us who have lost someone we love. This poem, I'm sure, did not come easy.
