A Complete Stop
This is no time to stop ---
The clock on the wall won't stop ---
So neither will I ---
Although I am slowing down,
seems everything else speeds up ---
Time erodes everyone ---
Everyone erodes me ---
When I was young dust never touched me ---
Now I am covered in it ---
No matter how hard I try,
I can not get rid of it ---
So I pretend not to care ---
Although the implications differ ---
There's a magic in it ---
The innocence is gone ---
As my heart comes to,
a complete stop.
