I call this way of writing, a collage of words. A mixture of allusions, quotes, expressions, references and thoughts created by the poet, to create a single weaving thought process, in this poem I am referring to my writing, my poems, but it could be anything. I suppose it could go on for many, many lines, but I ended it at sixteen. And of course, I had to get creative in the layout, but that's just my style too.
Some visit my poetry, my writings
with a passing word,
a phrase, with
an echoism, a mention, a whisper.
And I write from my dripping pen
words drowned in tears with dirge and lamenting,
this my forte,
my written works are my proof and validation.
Graveyard poetry
so sad, and
I write "in the moment" nature,
and excerpts from my precious, precious diary.
Deep contemplation,
silent meditation and
reflection, pondering, musing, is what I need
to pen a single word.
