A Cog In the Machine

( Inspired by and to be sang to the tune of " This Is Me " from the movie, " The Greatest Showman" ) I'm just a cog in the machine. That's all. I'm small. But there's only one of me! And this machine is one called Life. The wheel It turns. My part helps things to work. I won't let failure get me down. I tried, And for that I am proud. I must not give up! (Chorus... When things in life keep on saying no. (Oh, oh. ) Why give up? Why let it go? (Oh, oh. ) We aspire to meet dreams. We are part of this machine. We are cogs! ) We each matter to this machine. One cog gone It will jam, And it would start to scream. We all have our own purpose. So don't hide What's inside. Let yourself be seen! So don't let failure get you down. You try. For that you can be proud. You must not give up! ( Chorus ) I'm a cog in the machine. We are cogs in the machine. We aspire to meet dreams. We are part of this machine. We are cogs!
