A City Beyond

A little boy went to Sunday School Heard a story about Jesus up in Heaven, waiting for them there. In our heart, he lives within. "Daddy, where's Heaven?" Jesse was only seven. "Why can't we see it in the sky?" "Up there, do all the people die?" Daddy threw his fishing line out Sat back to relax and explain. "Jesse, heaven is a beautiful place." "For eternity, we will remain." "But daddy, how do we get up there." "We can't fly like the birds in the sky." "Jesse, an angel takes us up to Heaven, When it's our time to die." "Takes us to the pearly gates And there we enter in." "The streets are wide and Pure as gold, there is no sin." "There is no pain, crying, death, Hurt, mean words not said for sure." "No worrying about trying to fit in, Or reason to feel ashamed, ignored. " It's full of love, joy, peace, praising God, a home built for you and me." Jesse smiled and said he understood. "That's where Grammy and mamma Went up to be." If a child can understand, what heaven Is going to be like, why can't grown ups, too? It's so simple! © Melanie . All rights reserved, 11 hours ago
