A Church By the Ocean
The long waves of the ocean beat
Below the minster grey,
Caverns and chapels worn of saintly feet,
And knees of them that pray.
Watch the low green hills of Windsor
The low sky silver grey
One ashen light and no other color
On tower and one lonely tree sway.
But there is HE that woke the sleepless love
With more than mortal tears
And there is grave that has been wept above
Sleeping through many years.
