A Choir Recital
A Choir Recital
What to me that would seem to be vital
Is if the choir would give a great recital
With their becoming and beautiful voice
And after hearing it church did rejoice.
I am now saying and also am admitting
Sure this was an occasion quite fitting
For us to appreciate each note and chord
Displaying love that we had for our Lord.
Much feeling will be found in my soul
Each of my emotions God will console
Then He I instantly started to thank
And into deep slumber I slowly sank.
What a blessing the recital had been
Wish they would do it again and again
When I enjoyed it caused me to weep
And still hear each song in my sleep.
