A child's smile definitely can erase sadness-- amazing how it does that but super grateful that it can :) this just made me SMILE :) beautiful tanka, Shar-- btw just want to help, maybe adding apostrophes for "child's" and "world's" would be better? enjoyed this tanka :)-- nikko :)

Nothing displays friendliness between humans better than smiles. You have described everything quite well with your selected words in this tanka.

It's hard to feel sad when a child is smiling at you, isn't it, Sharon. This is a very sweet reflection on the joy children add to our lives. Love, Carolyn
