A Child's Christmas

Bubble lights 'pon the Christmas tree A little girl watches Bubble lights placed on lower limbs Illuminates branches Fasination captivates child A bright smile glows 'pon face Seconds, minutes, and hours pass by As she sits still in place Soft glow of yellow light surrounds The memory hazy White Angel Hair blocks the clear view Seems she holds a daisy Sponsor: Shadow Hamilton Contest: A Child's Christmas Written: December 29, 2013

You have written an exceptional write here my friend! I enjoyed how you composed this poem, a perfect 8/6/8/6 syllable count with excellent rhyming lines! And this is one of you tenderest poems, full of gentle lightness within the child's love! All as seen by anyone who can see this masterful descriptive view! What a brilliant piece Sara, Great Work!!
