A Child of Mind

There's a lady of old I've recently met I'd like you to meet her Her name is Georgette. One day I invited her To listen to song So she gladly came in But before she sat down. I saw her arms loosely cross And her eyes tightly close As she danced with her lips in a kiss To "My Wild Irish Rose". She ended her dance With a giggle and a smile It was like seeing the love In the eyes of a child. I don't know why God placed us together I never received a sign But he made this lady special Cause he made her, "A Child of Mind". Brenda Elizabeth Rose
