A Cherished Week

On Monday I changed her diaper On Tuesday she started school On Wednesday I saw her dressing And Daddy wasn't very cool On Thursday she wore a white gown And I walked her down the aisle My precious little sweetheart Was wearing a gorgeous smile On Friday they found the tumor On Saturday we cried our tears On Sunday I said my goodbyes After far too few of her years Time can fly by so fast And be gone in the blink of an eye Thirty years passed by in just one week I'll cherish every memory until I die
