A Cart and Horse

When I take the reins of a cart and horse, The world in an instant slows for a day. I take pleasure in nature's playful source, And learn how not to think so far away. I don't set my sights on the course charted. The horse plays along, (it's an inborn trait.) I think sometimes he has me outsmarted; He takes the path that's little used of late.
