A Cactus Ever So Lonely

I see, this is what it means, To have one intention, and one only. Why is it I have to be that one cactus, That feels ever so lonely. The hard rocks to the pavement so hot, Do I care? No I most certainly do not. For I have these friends, seemingly different. But who cares? For their petals drip such vibrant colors, And their love they leant. I sit here, pointy and uneasy to touch, But the soft heart of those flowers die down such a thought. Now, I don't have to feel like an only, Neither do I have to be that cactus, that is ever so lonely.
