A Broken Heart Rambling

A lost one. Losing lamenting that the forever wasn’t on, forever was off. Turn forever off by the switch on the wall. Have someone else change your light bulb, burning the dust off their fingertips. Something watching waiting from outside in the pine tree. And there she intrudes, she intrudes on him, she intrudes on your life. The bond that never melded, no bond to reflect your bond, and it breaks. Broken fragments from silent creaking settle on the floor, petals drooping, you forgot to water it. The healing gel within dried, rubbing on the spines left pining for the life they once protected. Huddle and hide grim majesty sheets of cobwebs covering your eyes, the flies, the honey you forgot to wipe it.
