A Black Hole

The light life hath stole Left my sprit missing a whole A preacher with a black book Opened my blind eyes to Luke Between my heart and my soul A void I can’t curtail A deep, unguarded fragility My fading centre of gravity So I wonder as I go If truth my heart doth know My mind hath rationalised fear To give my whole a long stair A black hole that echoes cries An abyss - on the surface - bliss Cradled in the palm of the sun Rises and falls into the unknown
