A Bird Alone
Flying around in my bitter cage
I haven't eaten in three damn days
These bars you see
Have been the end of me
Now listen to this story
Hatched and raised with out any mother
I met her in the east, on the north west corner
All was good
Until one day he stood
We held on and apparently it was understood.
We were taken away to this very cage
We lived our dream
until that faithful day
The lock unhinged and you flew with out fear
perched upon the ceiling fan
It was so Fu*king weird
You sand the song of last goodbyes and flew away
no matter how I cried
Not it's me, like never before
No eat, no sleep only pace this newspaper floor.
Now I sleep, I hate my life
I can't take it anymore
