A Beautiful Soul

The first time I saw you, You were with a beautiful smile. And the longer I get to know you, You're with a lot of things to hide. You have a beautiful soul, But a beggar deep inside; Craving for love, thirsting for life, Covered up with deceitful lies. Blinded and deceived; Still young to understand. Living with what the world's offering But deep within, you're suffering. You've told me once That when you're lonely, You cry and try to pray Calling God desperately. Then suddenly you asked, "Who is Jesus by the way?" Then I tried my best to share His story And your eyes sparkled differently. I hope your doubt, God will wash away. I hope you realize, That He's with you all the way. From your deep sleep, I hope you'll wake up one day, In God's perfect time; In God's perfect way.
