A beautiful butterfly crossed your path today

A beautiful butterfly crossed your path today
But did you ever think about the
transformation that it went through
When it started floating by
you ever so gracefully
I know that it may be
really hard to imagine
Because it started out as a caterpillar
And then one day it turned into a cocoon
And then it was given a whole new body
And then it was set free from
captivity
to soar and fly freely in the sky
And if you think about it for awhile
The good Lord touches us in many ways
If you will just take the time to open up our eyes
So that you can start seeing things differently
You will be utterly amazed by
the blessings
that you can encounter along the way
