" Song of Salome "

Off we fly my salohmay... 'Til our wings do fail... Higher higher into day... Aloft our golden sail... Tethered so at lands below... Far too long as we both know... Now time walks within our path... Rather than we in aftermath... So smile now my lady fine... Up up we'll dance & spin... 'Round 'round & down the line... 'Tis love we so shall win... So said he that captain then... To heart thus calmed it so... With me this wraith shall go... Simple task... I'll tell her when... Next they met was storm a'deck... Her hands flung 'round that captain's neck... Naught for love this stranglehold... 'Twas wrath o'her... he'd been too bold... Calmed thus by wave well spent... His lady told him in his ear... 'Twas not her wonder where love went... How it found her captain dear... Long she told him had she known... Her captain destined her shore blown... 'Twas thus so met were now they... Fate so then took holiday... For year & year so ran the sun... 'Til he was sage & she still fun... Silver where once blonde had been... Time lost well amid love's din... Now again high aloft... Winds warm & clouds so soft... 'Tis heard oft well such gossamer tune... From bluest depths of wandering moon... Off we fly my salohmay... 'Til our wings do fail... Higher higher into day... Aloft our golden sail... So smile now my lady fine... Up up we'll dance & spin... 'Round 'round & down the line... 'Tis love we so shall win... SeaWolf ©
