Winter Rose cold and beautiful A small sigh was heard in the silence The thoughts no one heard The pain that no one felt Wind caresses the naked skin Frozen and pleading closeness Winter Rose with a spark of glowing joy With its enigmatic beads strung on gold plated cords Towards crystal clear air Snow falls from heaven (- Winter Roses are white Roses that can withstand snow and frost -) 02.12.2014 A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Anne Lise - this is a little charm - quaint imagery - I like the juxtaposed title - Winter Roses. Yes, they can withstand but still a bit oppositional in their existence :)

Anne-Lise, This is a quite wonderful verse write!! You have what the Germans call: "Das Fingerspitzengefuel" (that is, that in-grained "feeling-touch" for the words you employ in this write (and certainly in others too), how you sense them and use them so effectively in the images you develop!!
