- the Alve Queen -

In all eternity lives our energy and destiny path in the deepest love All candles are almost burned down - the house and the night is so quiet Through the white nights feminine snowflake falls to earth Half dark and moonlight a beautiful glow - the heart has a quiet rhythm The tracks in the snow are obvious - it is winter time that make it possible We shall live in all the seasons and each of them has its own value The snowflakes in my face caresses the skin and my lips The winter the Alve Queen arrives with snow diamonds Northern lights blazing in the sky - a quiet and beautiful fireworks White falling angels sing in joy so that she will never be forgotten Holy Night 21.12.2013 A-L Andresen :) (1st place in the contest)

I like this poem a lot. The night aspect and the winter aspect. I have learned to appreciate living in all the seasons and yes truly each has it's value.

This is amazing and beautiful. You have a way of putting simple words together that spawn many images. When I read 'feminine snowflakes' I instantly saw delicate, exquisite flakes swirling down like ball gowns sweeping around at a winter dance.
