Pupils suit every niche Imagine seeing through the eyes of the animals The truth and soul is hidden behind the perfect makeup How does the world look like through a owls eyes Many say the owl is a symbol of wisdom Is that fact or a myth Most people think that an owl is looking wise Owls are master hunters, but not particularly wise I admire them because they are unique in the natural world * Not for contest :) 13.02.2016 A-L Andresen :)

Hi Anne-Lise, the owl, sublime in its soaring flight. I don't know about being wise, i guess everything in nature has some kind of intelligence. even if it is only some kind of protective instinct. The owl is a fearsome hunter, death from above is correct in this point. Owls can be very beautiful. Your gentle words sing as always Anne-Lise. I did enjoy reading this piece. A seven soars its way to you on owls wings Anne-Lise. Hugs....MIKE. XX

Enjoyed, Anne Lise! here in Minneapolis, Owls are mobbed frequently by Crows in our neighborhoods, in the northern forests of Minnesota, when I go camping with my daughters, the Saw Whet owl livens the night sounds with their eerie call, Happy Valentines! jim

Ancient Athens In Greece had as their symbol the Owl. They had it as a symbol of wisdom and even today we use it as such in our books. Interesting poem that makes one ponder of how the animals perceive the world. Very good my dear !

Owls are such a treasure, and some think visitors to our world make themselves manifest through owls. Hoo knows. I haven't been around much lately. Nothing much to write but have started in again.

Yes, they are a symbol of wisdom, Sunshine. In my part of the world...if you hear an owl hooting at night, it signifies death. It is superstition, and I don't believe it, but that is what people here believe. Hugs to you, dear one.
