I remember being afraid to sleep alone when l was young and my Mom always reassured me there was nothing to fear. Your poem is a sweet lullaby that adults can find comfort in, as well. Nicely done, Anne-Lise!

Comforting words for children are a necessary part of our childhood. Your sweet piece is that in spades my friend. A7 and yes I did the same for my children, told stories at night to get them to sleep.

A lovely poem/lullaby, I remember my mother sitting on the edge of my bed telling me stories when i was a child. I have done the same for my children and grandchildren, the sound of a quiet voice and the comfort of your presence soothes away all their fears.
