A universe full of stars A blanket of twinkling pearls Pearls to enter a string - jewelery stones A beautiful sight that catches me Silence and tranquility in the dark night Small, alone but not lonely .... Kiss the stars tonight An unknown dark with shining stars Embracing in the glass clear light Harmony with the spiritual power The night is cold feel the blood pulsing Bubbling ice cold champagne Passion or madness Kiss the stars tonight 08.11.2013 A-L Andresen :) (2nd place in the contest)

I love this piece. Watching the stars at night in a dark sky to appreciate the full beauty is literally an out-of-this-world experience. Unfortunately, because of the ambient lighting from streetlights, etc., such a view is not readily available. Sometimes, I picture cavemen from prehistoric times and the fascination they must have felt gazing at the night sky. The feeling of peacefulness and serenity induced is an out of this world feeling. Thank you for posting this lovely write!
