8 Legged Freak
I don't think it's just a nightmare,
Gradually I've succumb to fear.
For the spiderman has come tonight,
To take all that I hold dear.
His hairy legs extend their grasp,
And suddenly I'm mesmerized.
For no matter which way, his monstrous fangs,
Burrow its venom deep inside.
The spiderman has come tonight,
Or maybe they're just foolish dreams.
But it really doesn't matter what I think,
For reality has burst at the seams.
An intricate web so craftfully designed,
For no other purpose but to feed.
A frightening feature and ghastly creature,
There is no doubt he'll do the deed.
The 8 legged freak has come for me...
